Festool router guide

Does anyone know if the router guide will work for a non-festool router. I have the guide rail but want to know if the spacing of the bars will fit other routers.

I know microfence.com sells adapters. Expensive though. If you do a google search you will find info on other solutions and failures.

The Festool router guide will not directly fit Bosch or Hitachi routers but you can adapt without too much trouble. I'm trying to find the thread on FOG to show you the exact setup I saw.

I do have the Festool guide and rails but have not adapted the guide to my Bosch MRC23 router yet. Probably won't get around to it until summer.

The Dewalt router guide works on the Festool track. It's rods are too short for the router to hang off the front of the guide rail, but it does work off the back of the guide rail.
