Epilog Mini 18 optics

While my laser is working great right now, I do wonder about replacement lens and mirrors. I also wonder about upgrading the lens as mine is original and a 2005. All information about replacements or possible upgrades would be great.

If you don't abuse your lens, you can get many years worth of use out of it. Unless you notice a drop in performance or the lens looks physically damaged, there's no reason to replace it.

At the same time, it would not be a bad idea to have a few spare optics around. If you have only one usable lens and it goes bad on you (accident, contamination) it could put you in a bind.

You can get unmounted mirrors pretty inexpensively so having a spare mirror or two might be a good idea.
