Here's a cherry burl bowl I made for xmas and a few ornaments. Haven't turned all summer, just doing odds and ends and before I knew it the

Glad to see your post. I have a Cherry burl that has been "curing" for about 5 years since I was undecided about a shape for hollow form. Your bowl reminded me that I could saw it into slabs and make bowls and I have done that with some Mesquite mistletoe burl sections. Your ornaments are also good looking and should make great gifts.
