walnut urn

this started out to be something totally different and when it flew off the lathe a few months ago ( it was one of those noghts that nothing could go right) i was ready to burn it

i kept the pieces aside and decided to do something with them tonight

overall i am happy with the finished results

Chris, That urn looks great! I am glad that you didn't burn this peice of wood. That slight sap wood in the lower pic is a nice accent!

but when it flew off the lathe a couple of times i set it aside
