jointer question

Does a slightly scalloped surface on the edge of a board mean that one or two knives are higher than the other?

Yup...it does.

the only other possibility might be that you were using excessive feed speed. Did you just notice this or have you just changed your blades.

I did just notice it but I haven't used my jointer in a very long time....I just face-jointed a board and I can see the same thing, just much shallower. Thanks for the input Jim and Lou.
