This is little tool that I bought in the distant past. You place it on the surface to be drilled and then align the drill bit in the groove to achieve close to a right angle. Clearly it doesn't work as well as a drill press or some other methods, but it is fast and when the work is such that "close" will do, it is fine.
It has "Cat. No. 2596 on one side and the sizing holes are 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, and 1/4. One side is slightly longer than the other
It has been a good little help on many projects. I would like to get another for my 9 year old grandson whose father gave him a cordless drill driver. I can't remember where I bought it. Does anyone have a name for it, or know where to get one?
