Here's a couple of pics of a project that I did this weekend. It's my first attempt at a deep hollowing. It's thicker than I normally try to do, but I was afraid that if I got it too thin, I'd blow the bark off of it....

Verry impresive. What kind of wood?

Oops, sorry. It's ambrosia maple finished with several coats of sprayed on Deft Lacquer and buffed out with the bealle buffing wheels.
