Can someone tell me where I can purchase this clamp in the U.S?

I have found it for sale in the U.K., but not here.

It is a Am-Tech 100mm/ 4-inch One Hand Speed Clamp

Hmm. Looks like it was made from a cartridge gun.

Thank you for the comments. Thanks to the hints, I now know it is made in the U.K. and that the manufacturer, DK Tools Ltd., does not sell at retail. I have sent them an email asking if they have a U.S. retailer.

Looks like a rather light duty clamp. What makes it special?

If this tools are made in the U K then the name could be a cramp instead of clamp

I was kinda thinking the same thing. It looks like a modified caulking gun. Most caulking guns I have used don't provide much clamping pressure before it starts slipping. Which is ok for caulk, but I would think it would be a problem for a clamp.

What makes it special to me is the one handed ease of use. I use it a lot to clamp to my drill press table. I can position something with both hands, then hold it in place with one hand while I clamp it with the other hand. It works the same for other things such as a glue up. It has some leverage advantage in the handles and it will apply a surprising amount of pressure. While it it true that I can get more pressure with other clamps, this clamp will usually provide enough pressure for the job. When it doesn't provide enough pressure, it at least holds things in place while I apply other clamps.

That looks like it would be miserable to use. I'll stick with my Quick-Grip clamps, which fill the same role. I have a lot of them (the older style) which I use all the time. Never failed me yet. One used to be able to get them on sale for pretty low prices too.

Looks like a Lee Valley April 1st Caulk Clamp.

I have one of those from my grandfather's things. It has its uses. I'll look at it tomorrow and let you know who made it if different. Leichtung Workshops used to sell that sort of thing.
