Hey, all,
I recently bought a set of the new Stanley Sweetheart 750 socket chisels and want to secure the handles.
In researching how to do that, I found an article in FWW where the guy suggests using epoxy to glue the handles on.
Epoxy's great stuff – I use it all the time – but that seems kind of extreme to me since the only way I know to remove it would be by heating it until it softened (and I wouldn't want to risk drawing the temper out of the steel) or boring out the socket again with a tapered bore.
What have you folks done to secure your socket chisels to their handles?
TIA,
Jacob.
