Chinese Elm Bowl. Around 9" (22cm) across, finished with Bush Oil and Polyurethane. Rough turned in Santa Ynez while on vacation and final turned back home once dry.

Very nice Eric. Looks a lot like some Black Cherry bowls I have made and I love Cherry. Keep up the great work.
I checked out the Flicker version and was hoping to see some other angles. Was wondering about the bottom/base treatment.

A very nice bowl, I especially like the wide/thick rim that tops the thinner walls.

Thanks, the wide rim was a design element that was new for me, and it was fun to try out.
