Finally got my new bandsaw in place and the shop rewired. When I push in the on switch, the saw powers up, however the switch will not stay engaged in the on position. Any suggestions. Also any good resources on how to adjust the carter guides?

Push harder on the switch. You will feel it click. Just tried mine and if I don't fully engage the switch, the saw won't stay on.

Thanks Graham. Went out this AM and tried that with my finger/thumb blanching from pressure. Still a no go. Took the protective clear rubber cover off. Swith will engage and hold then. Put cover back on, still a no go. I have spoke with service tech at company I purchased it through. Will see what happens. Kieran
