Router base

I wondered if anyone has used the CRB7 router base from M-Power. I purchased one on sale several months ago, and wondered if there was a better router than my PC-690 plunge base for it.

Overall, I have been pleased with it, except for having to make some thumbscrews for the router base, which only comes with regular Phillips screws. I made some out of a regular screw, a nut, and several dips into liquid rubber, but would like to find another router that has thumbscrews to lock it onto the base.
