I was given a riser block to use with my old JET JBS-14 bandsaw which has a hexagonal bar rather than a round one like the one that came with the kit. Unfortunately it turns out that this bandsaw is metric, so I need a 16" length of 21mm hex steel rod, and I have not been able to find a local supplier who carries it. Does anyone know where I could find some?

Thanks in advance.

cheers, Paul

I would check with Jet, then McMaster-Carr. Jet has a good parts website.

Alro Steel would be my first try. The have 2.5 million+ pieces of metal in their hub. Computerized inventory so they can tell you right away. Want it in titanium?

I would suggest trying 13/16 hex stock if there isn't a close fit requiremeny. That would be only about .015 under 21 mm.
McMaster carries 20 mm hex, 22mmhex and 13/16 which is inbetween in carbon steel.
