Unfortunately I was recently in a rush and had a clogged bathroom sink. When this has happened in the past, I have taken the time to pull out the drain and put the drain clean in with a funnel. This time I stupidly just poured it in to the sink and you can see the results! Surface still feels smooth. Any suggestions on how to remove the stain. Thanks. Kieran274316

Looks like a micro-etch... feels smooth, but it burned away the softer portions of the stone. Tough to say without seeing it in person.

You might try some different grits of rubbing compound. I had some travertine that got etched from spilled wine. A professional came in and power buffed it with different grits and got rid of the mark. That part of the travertine is now a bit lower than the rest of it, however.
