I wanted to do the outfeed table like woodsmith had with the http://assets.rockler.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/small_image/80x/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/2/1/21910-02-1000.jpg
Magswitch MagJig 150 (40mm) devices, but didn't want to spend the $37.00 each for the magnets.

I just used two 1" rare earth magnets J-B welded onto counter bored holes.
It is just resting on a roller stand right now, I have to come up with a single leg for the rear, that can be disconnected and stuck in a corner when not in use.
I think it will work out OK, if not, I need to find another way to attach it, maybe 5/16" studs coming out of the rear rail, with those threaded knobs things you use for jigs to act as the nut to bolt it down.

from Rockler, I got a 24" X 32 " light brown phenolic faced plywood sheet, ($25.00)

Do you think the full sheet is too big for a cross cut sled for this saw?
I will be making a smaller one too.

I just bolted a 1/2" pipe thread floor flange to the bottom of the table, took a length of 1/2" pipe, and pressed in a slider from a ford or GM truck caliper, where a bolt threads in, to give me a bit of adjustably on the floor end.
So I thread in the pipe, and stick the table on to the back rail, the magnets grab on, and it should be OK.
