Well, you're on a woodworking forum, so I'm going to guess the vast majority will answer "woodworking" of one form or another ;)

Yep, woodworking.

I spend most of my free time making scrap and saw dust in the shop, I am really good at that.

You haven't met my wife, there is no free time when she is around.

I spend my time making short boards out of long boards and skinny boards out of wide boards.

Welcome to the Creek. You'll find friendly folks here but most are wise guys, too.

I dont think I can recall the concept of "free time" ;)

OK...since woodworking is the obvious answer, I'm am going to say that I spend a good deal of my spare time here.

I used to fly airplanes in my free time but it got too expensive. In the long run I'm not sure woodworking is any cheaper.

My day job is woodworking, or rather managing a woodworking shop, and my present hobby is blacksmithing / knifemaking.

Some time in the far of future I have this dream of making a reproduction piece of furniture with tools I made myself. Only 20 years till retirement.

If your taking a poll and asking questions like this, I am afraid you will get pretty skewed answers like mine:
Woodworking is my hobby and I spend most of my free time on SMC.

When I'm not doing either of those 2 things I also like playing with computers and electronic gadgets.

Free time: woodworking, metalworking, writing / playing music, and reading books. I used to fish a lot, but having no free time forced me to get rid of my boat.

I have 5 houses - 4 of which are rentals.
That pretty much kills any free time & free money too for that matter.

I do amuse myself however by figuring out what tools I could have bought rather than sinking the money into repairs on one of the rentals.
Just a month ago for instance, a simple rescreen of a back porch turned into an Italian band saw (About $1700.00) when we discovered half the porch had rotted away and needed rebuilt.

I don't have much free time these days, but in addition to woodworking, I like photography. Mostly into shooting landscapes and birds.

Free time? I'm retired, and don't have that any more.

I love to putter around in my woodworking shop but also do photography. My wife's concept of my free time is anytime she doesn't need me for her projects. I also enjoy baking regular bread, artisan loaves and rolls.

When knot chasing down my dog, lasso-ing my wayward children or tying up loose end around the house,
I'm exploring some of the lower math in string theory.

It has woven into my conscious state a tapestry of ideas that warp perceptions.

I rarely have any free time because I am either woodworking, veggie gardening, bulldozing, doing yard work, repairing computers, cataloguing my coin colection....... or eating :) :)

Hmm - good question!
I know a lot of people have told me I'm on borrowed time,,,, ;)
So if you're buying your time, I might have to look into that!

I spend most of my free time reading, web-surfing, or watching TV shows online... You would think, being a woodworking forum member that I'd actually be doing some woodworking. I'm trying to come to grips with the idea that I may be more interested in -knowing about- woodworking (woodturning) than actually -doing- it...
I do read SMC daily, and I watch a lot of woodturning videos...

I make signs so woodworking is still a hobby for me most of the time.
My kids are grown and I don't beat my wife so that gives me a little more tractor seat time.
I work here which takes several hours per day. I turn the TV on when I am working on The Creek but its behind me so all I really do is listen to the news.
Jackie and I watch a movie on Friday nights.
I have a hundred year old farm house that will consume any time left over doing maintenance and repair.
