hi there,
new comer first post.
i am looking for a 8000/1000 range stone for my lineup as the finishing stone. currently i have the chosera 400-1000-5000. mainly use on knives and plane blades and chisels.
i almost pulled the trigger getting the pure white, but the store owner i was contacting which has recommend the king Gold G1 and naniwa SS 10000 to me.
i kind prefer harder stones, i am still leaning to the purewhite but the owner mentioned that it normally cracking after one year usage....
please advise.
