Has anyone heard or or used these grinders? I picked up a 8" 1/2HP pedestal grinder today for $40. It runs great and I'm happy with the price. That said, it would be nice to know a bit more about the product. I know it's made in Denmark, has a 5-year "industrial use" warranty but all the other documentation I can find is not that helpful.

BTW, it's been a good day! I also picked up an old 15" "Canadian" Buffalo for $45!

That's a nice grinder, for sure. You can get an owners manual here (http://www.hwl.dk/ressources/product/152/152_man.pdf). The middle section in English. Love the drill press as well.

I found a 2011 price list which sat me back on my heels! The prices in Euros for my grinder was listed at 765. It's hard to believe that anyone would pay more than $1K for a 1/2HP grinder on a pedestal!

If these are standard European prices I wonder how much a basic drill press would cost?
