Camcorder Advice Needed!

Hi Everybody!

I really like the idea of this Off Topic forum!

My Wife wants to get a camcorder. We want one with some capabilities. We've been looking at the JVC GRDVP3U:

We like this one because it takes Secure Digital cards, which we already have. What do you think? Are there other ones we should be looking at? All suggestions are welcome!

Last year I purchsed a camcorder, I went to the web site for Consumer Reports and Panasonic had two models in the top ten that were reccomended by those who purchesed. I bought one of the Panasonics and I'm pleased.

The model I purchsed is probably not worth mentioning since electronics change almost quarterly but It probably is worth a look at Consumer Reports for current information. Just a thought!
