Papa Griggio has been adopted into my workshop family. He's a strapping big fella from Northern Italy. Wtih 24" wheels, he's got a resaw capacity of @16" inches. I've cleaned him up, and after doing a little adapter cord magic, hope to have him in service by next weekend. Papa went to the Carter School of Blade Guiding
Oh, Papa set me back about $900.

That is the heavy ACM series. Are the wheels solid? Dave

No, they're spoked. I think the difference between the X00 and X40 series is the latter have a stouter motor, possibly stouter frame as well, and footbrake, so the extra inertial mass of the solid wheels isn't needed.

You just can't beat the performance of a really big band saw. I went though several smaller saws before I learned my lesson.
That's a real beauty John, congratulations.

My ceiling isn't that tall or I would have gotten one too. Yahhhh. Have fun with that one. Bet you have a smile on your face every time you walk into the shop.
