Good afternoon all

I am in the process of building a router table and haven't yet decided on mobility for it. I did a few searches on the Creek and couldn't find anything so I figured I'd ask what you all are using. I would like something I could make rather than buy. It also has to have retractable wheel(s)
so it will be stable. I was thinking some kind with 2 wheels on one side with a flip up caster on the other.

Thanks much guys (and gals)

I kept my router table's mobility very simple. I mounted wheels on one side so when the table is sitting flat those wheels don't quite touch the floor. When I lift the opposite end the wheels touch the floor and I can easily move it where I want. No special wheels required. My dad made a stand for a belt sander more than 40 years ago and used the same method with wheels he cut out of wood with a hole saw. I have that stand, too and it still works fine.

Stan,

Here's a photo of my recently built router table.

I bought 4, 4" HD casters from Grizzly. I used 2 that swivel and 2 that don't swivel. They are all locking casters and with this arrangement, I can lock 3 of the 4 casters all the time. I have used it since I built it and it is quite stable this way

I have fixed casters on one end and feet on the other end. I use handles that are hinged to move it around wheelbarrow style.
