Yes, they are the way to go for 3d adjustment of large doors They are expensive, and require proprietary templates, template holder and cutters. I understand those may be rented from one of the distributors.

They actually work much better than Soss hinges for doors where you can use them. Of course they're also much more $$$. They are large hinges good for passage doors, so smaller applications like cabinet doors you may still need your Soss;)

Mike, they are available from Index-D. I believe the smallest hinges start around $100 per each. Sugatsune makes some similar 3d hinges in the smaller range.
