Good morning all I am just setting up my laser and wonder how close to the lens the front of the tube can be ?as you can see with the position of the braket I will be very close Frank

Too close Frank, you want to be 25mm absolute minimum with 50mm being better. The reason will become apparent when you forget the clean the output coupler for the first time ;)

RECI say the tube clamps should be 200mm from each end to get the correct support.

thanks yes I taught that it just looks wrong I got it back an inch and a half I just put the outlet tube under the front support and if I put the outlet port behind the front support I am very far back and the inlet tube is bent thanks Frank

I have sparks it really helps to watch the DVD that comes with the laser before you start hahahaha but not so much fun and hell reading the manual helps also mmm think I deserve a glass of wine thanks Frank
