This is a perpetual calendar 3d file from Hariprasad in India,he designed it from an old childhood toy his father gave him.
I took the 3d file and worked at it to get 2D parts from it then cut it out.I see now how it works and i will need to sandwhich it between two
pieces of plexiglas and leave some open slots to adjust the rings for date and day changes

Stan,

I like this, it seems simple and useful. If you get a chance to upload the file I see X-mas gifts for some teachers at school!

try to get it working first as there might be design changes

Cool idea. I think I'll rework this concept a little and try to get it a little more user-friendly (like, notches for fingers to rotate it) and give it a whirl.

the notches sound ok ,i thought a plexi face and slots to move the rings ,the rings do move i lubbed them with parafin wax
i will post my second run later today with some changes

I cannot upload the file its too big

been in touch with the author and he has no special ideas on the ring adjustment
I still feel a plexi glass front with either slots or a pie shaped window for adjustments
