JET has a new bench grinder out for woodworkers. Looks to be priced above cheap but below Grizzly industrial grinder and way below Baldor.

By chance anyone own this yet or for anyone with experience with a grinder care to comment on how it specifications compare ?

I have the 3450 RPM version of that at home - JBG-8.

It has been all I expect out of Jet at the $139 on-sale price that I paid several years ago. It is certainly FAR better than the Woodcraft 8" grinder I bought on-sale for $89.95 a couple years later. I see the Woodcraft one is now around $110 and the JET is around double that. I think the Jet is worth the difference and I'm reluctant to say anything good about anything recent from WMH.

I feel pretty comfortable about Jet/Powermatic tools of a few hundred dollars that I can take back easily to my local tool store if they aren't right. I'm still disgusted about my experience with my PM1800 drill press.
