I am building a frame for a client that wants a grey/silver frame to match their silver gelatin print (photograph). The client wants it to be about middle grey (not too light, not too dark). I could just paint it with acrylic paint, but that would look awfully flat.
I was planning on using maple, but I'd be open to other suggestions
I've got an hvlp sprayer, and access to a whole bunch of different finishes. I generally top coat with ML Campbell WB lacquer
Any ideas or tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
