Redoing kitchen. Wife just finished repainting our face frame cabinets, doors, and drawers The cabinet doors are 3/4" stock with a 3/8"x3/8" rabetted offset. She can't find any hinges she likes, so we are thinking concealed hinges.

Do they make a concealed hinge for face frame cabinets with offset doors? I can find concealed face frame hinges only for overlay doors.

Is this what you mean by 3/8 x 3/8 offset rabbet?

I'll research my Blum catalog. Initially I think the face frame mounted plate and inset hinge might work, but the remainig 3/8" from the back of the door to the back of the face frame has me scratching my head. Also, using that plate, every face frame needs at least 1/2" exposed on the back side for the plate to mount. Unless someone else has an answer, I'll post again tonight (gotta go jump in the hamster cage).

You can use the Blum 155 degree hinge in this application:

272345

You will need to "block out" behind the hinge so the mounting plate installation location is flush to the inside of the opening
