C&S Set sharpening

I was wondering how much you guys pay for sharpening a 6 piece cope and stick shaper cutter set? I have no real basis as the places I have worked for all had tools sharpened, but I never knew the cost. Now doing it for myself I suspect that it should be proportional to the item cost like blades (several sharpenings for good tooling at a price around 25% of the overall cost). Thanks!

I honestly couldn't tell you as I haven't had a set sharpened in quite some time. However if I needed to know about how much something like this would cost, I would simply pick up the phone and call several places that offer the service and find out. Call several places in different parts of the country and you should nail down a good average pretty easily;)
