I've been trying to come up with a way of making small box drawers slide easier. I usually put a good coat of wax when the box leave my shop, but I am looking for something that would last longer. I hate telling a customer that periodically they need to reapply wax to the drawers. Since most feel that the only kind of wax wood needs has Pledge printed on the label, it can be hard getting them to buy a can of Black Bison or similiar type of wax.
Anyone tried using a thin suede on the runners. There isn't much in the way of weight so wear isn't much of an issue. I'm open to ideas on how to improve drawer slides.
