they use similar things to clean dirt and grime of of old buildings as it has no effect on stone/brickwork, if i had to hazard a guess at the laser power i would have put it at around 100 watts, certainly not 1000 !! oddly if you put your had under this is would probably not hurt to much compared to a 50 watt co2 which would be instant agony, i would recommend neither!!
Makes a joke of laser safety, which if you take the time to look at the rules are a joke anyway.

I've seen a CL500Q used on car paintwork, it's amazing to watch :) That unit in the video probably is the CL1000Q (yup they really are 1,000 watt YAG's)
