Tesa Tape. Johnson Plastics carry, I think.

+ 1 on Tesa double sided. I’m not in business so I just buy a roll or two at a time from Amazon.

For same application I've been using 3M 467MP and 468MP adhesive transfer tapes. 467MP has 2 mil adhesive and 468MP has 5 mil.
I buy them in rolls of 12" x 60 yards but these are also available in sheet format (24" x 36").
JDS also has gold line of tapes in assorted widths.

Permanent tape? Like the stuff the auto industry uses to put plastic parts on cars? Or somewhat removeable tape?

3M VHB tape is used professionally in construction, sign making and commercial fixtures. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Adhesives/Tapes/Products/?N=5485815&rt=c3 . This link goes to 3Ms site. A lot of good information there.

The JDS or tesa tape will work better than is needed for labels. The 3M may be overkill and over expensive.
Is there a reason you can't make the tags with your Epilog?

Finding right supplier is the key.
3M 467MP transfer adhesive 12" x 60yards roll from my supplier cost me $130.00
JDS gold tape 2" x 36 yards lists for over 25.00

I believe Johnson Plastic will apply adhesive to the sheets. You may want to consider that as less work involved .

Absolutely, Martin. They have a whole line of materials with a damn good adhesive already applied. I utilize the clear version for nameplate slider spacers in room signs, and the colors for ADA lettering that I kiss-cut and peel away. Good stuff.
