Wood ID question

I know there are a lot of wood gurus out there. Maybe someone can help. I have some wood (actually veneer) that is labeled in German as Anga. I tried Google translate and Google and Wikipedia with no results. Anyone have nay idea what it might be? Looks like Maple or Beech, light color and fine grain. Tried a photo but it's so fine it's hard to get a good shot.

Just thought the experts might know.

Found a description and sample of AGBA--could it be a misspelling somewhere? It looks like a fine grained(very small ray flecks) Beech. An import from Africa. Look in What Wood Is That---wood #2. Maybe?
