Pressure treated lumber?

I'm doing a garden gate, using pressure treated lumber from the BORG to support the vertical cedar or redwood boards. Do the chemicals in the treated 2x4's adversely affect the screws I'll be using to hold it all together?

Dependent on the screw quite possibly. Make sure that the fasteners you use are exterior ACQ rated or stainless steel.

Use the fasteners that are specifically made for treated lumber. If I'm not mistaken you end up with a galvanic reaction with normal screws/nails.

They use double dip galvanized in construction.
