Hello all,

As I plan to build my "flip-cart" for a planer and other tools, I need a bit of info.
Seems there aren't many of these planers around my area to look at and measure, without buying first, but I'm not quite ready to pull that trigger.

In the meantime, for those of you with this planer, some dimensions would be really helpful.

Overall width, length and such (height, lowered?) with the extension tables in their upright folded position.

I thank you in advance for your trouble.

Regards,
A.W.D.

Width = 27", height = 14", depth = 23" (tables folded-up)
The handle sticks-out about 4" (in the 27" dimension).

You may already know this, but the tool for changing blades will fall out when you flip it upside down unless you make some arrangement to restrain it.

The outfeed table won't fold up all the way. Do you plan on removing it?

The DW735 is a pretty heavy machine at around 92 lbs. If you are going to put it on a flip cart you need to make certain that it is strong enough and that you can control it when you rotate it from top to bottom.

I am not certain that I would attempt to put something that heavy on a flip cart.

Myk - Gotta' think about that one a bit for sure...

Larry - True enough. I was taking my cues from Michael Heffernan's post here:
