The flooding in Colorado :Clean up possible ???

I watched some of the news videos of the recent flooding out in Colorado. On video showed raw sewage coming out of the toilets and sinks almost like a geyser. That got me to thinking how are they going to clean that all up ? If they have an old house that has a well drilled in their basement, how could they possibly clean out that water well if it got flooded with raw sewage ?

Drill a new well. Probably aren't too many homes left with a well in the basement.

Many of the homes which have been severely damaged won't be cleaned up. Rather a bulldozer is in their future.
