Well boys and girls that was quite the whirlwind 4 day weekend!!! I'm beat but almost done.

I got all the cedar trim done except for a couple corner boards that I was short. I went to HD and got them and Cheryl got them primed already so that will be the last of the trim work and I'll knock that out tomorrow nite. I got the rest painted this afternoon to match the shop and house and did some general site cleanup with help from Cheryl and Katie. Here's what we have now...

Hopefully I'll get a little time later in the week to work on the doors and the ramp with next weekend being the target for being really done. I still have tons of shelving to build and of course move all the crap from the old building. I'm gonna push the old one out back with the tractor and strike a match to it ASAP. :D

Considering less than a week that same spot looked like this...

I'm very, very pleased with how far we got. I owe a ton of thanks to my buddy Jim. Without his help I would be no where near as close to done as I am. Hope ya'll enjoyed this little saga. :D

Thanks for looking!!!!! I'll post the really done pics as soon as I'm really done.

Terry,
Great looking building. Let me know when you are going into the building business full-time and I'll send you some work... ;)

Whew!!! I better stick to my chosen career , Von!!!

Every part of me hurts like the dickens. The appraisal business is much less painful. :D

John,

Noope...no planes for this building. Strickly files, gardening tools, lawn things and all that other stuff that I'll never need but can't stand to throw away. :D

I'm really proud of the little building. It turned out better than I imagined. Cheryl says it has to have window boxes so I guess it's back to HD for more cedar.

Dang Terry, Im impressed !!!!!!!!!

I would still be looking at the plans and wondering.......

You worked it out dude. Nice job. I had a Tuff Shed in Ca that looked something like that. Cheryl is right coz I added window boxes and it just finished it nicely. That is a nice looking building.

As John said, you kicked some butt putting that together so fast.....

Looking Great Terry. My Back hurts from just looking at the pics. Ya'll made excellent progress in the time allotted. With a nail gun and Mitre saw, I could have probably made fairly good time, (when I actually got started on the building), but it would have taken me at least three more Weeks to get that Crushed Rock spread out before I could have even started work on the building. :D :D

I agree that the window boxes will really set it off. That Rock shows up so white, it almost looks like you painted it too. :D :D Sure looks Clean.

Very nice, Terry! And so quick. And I thought you Arky's just found a shade tree and sipped iced tea all day. You kinda disprove my wife's stereotype of the typical Arkansan. Course, she's from "Loosiana", so what does she know? :) :D

Norman,

Thanks!!! Credit goes to my buddy Jim for all his help and experience. I would not have been able to do it without him. Framing is not my strong suit. 'Course neither is roofing or triming ..or...
