Wipe-on finish ratio

I have seen comments on making your own wipe-on finish from poly and possibly mineral spirits. Has anyone made their own and if so, what is the ideal ratio-50/50 or so? Thanks in advance.

I make mine 50/50. That's a pretty standard mix.

50/50 is good because it's easy to measure. It's not critical to be exact.
