I lost my house in the Moore, OK tornado and was able to salvage a couple of my tools, one being my sliding miter saw, specifically the Makita LS1016L. After moving into our new house I am able to start looking at my tools I salvaged and check them out. It was in the garage on a miter saw stand and the garage collapsed on it. It works fine and I used it the other day to cut some 2x4's but now am thinking about building some built in cabinets and book shelves in our new house and was going to test it out to make sure nothing was bent slightly which might cause me issues in more precise work. It is in good shape other than superficial damage and if it can be salvaged i'd like to keep it. What would you check to make sure everything is in alignment, other than you typical 90 degree, and 45 degree cuts to make sure they are correct. Thanks
