Hi. I came across an ad today (in Canada, so I'm not going to buy it because I'm in Wisconsin) for a Sears Craftsman 6-1/8" variable speed jointer planer. It looks identical to the Ryobi JP-155 that sold in the U.S. a long time ago (20 years?). It has also been sold at Harbor Freight in a wonderful pumpkin orange, under the Central Machinery name. Ryobi still sells these in Japan, BTW, and someone is selling them in Europe. Although I suspect they are no longer manufactured in Japan.

ANYWAY, does anyone know the model or part # for this thing? I'm just sort of interested in researching it a bit. I E-Mailed the seller but didn't hear back, and may never, as I started my E-Mail with "I can't buy it because I'm too far away..."

If it's like the one I had years ago, it might have a VERY loud Universal motor!
