Power Carver for sanding bowls and other lathe work
I have been using the GUINEVERE sanding system power by a 30 year OLD 3/8 drill I hung up with the the trigger lock on, It went up in smoke yesterday.
I was thinking of getting a Power Carver Flex Shaft setup with variable speed for sanding and use the GUINEVERE bulbs and other disk. I’m wanting to start do some carving (power carving) anyway. I Know I’ll need a 1/4 collect on the flex shaft.
Does anyone out there use a power carver with flex shaft for their Sanding on the blows other and other lathe work?
What you Brand , HP and RPM range would you recommend?
I see Woodcraft has this on sell Wecheer 1/4 HP Flexible Shaft Carver Kit for $160 http://www.woodcraft.com/product/2005912/19153/wecheer-14-hp-flexible-shaft-carver-kit.aspx would this work and is it a good price.
