Ah, if I had the space to put a long bench, I'd be on it. But I've got a bench (that's both short, and hasn't been used much at all lately, unfortunately), and even cheap is still pricey for my blood these days. And twelve feet is a a bit longer than I can fit in my hatchback, especially for a two and a half hour drive each way!
