Yes...they are better!!

Time for some more refreshments... ;) ...expecialy since none of this stuff is useful for mixing massive amounts of mortar.

I am absolutely positive that one is better than the other at doing some things, but I'm not sure what things one is better at doing than the other although I'm sure that the other one is better at doing some things that one is not as good at doing in some people's opinion, I think. So there.

I suggest that every Member of SawMill Creek purchase one of each system. In twelve months we can all compare notes and publish our personal preference :)

feathered and put $100 in the kitty. Is anybody else sick of this? How about thinking up other good punishments for mentioning any of this. :) Any other ideas?

As much better as Festool is than EZ, that's how much better EZ is than Festool.

I say The heck with em both.
I have found a new "Track "based constuction tool!
Will adapt any popular woodworking tool!
Table saw and band saw too!
Will work around curves!

Per, you may be on to something there! If we could all agree on the plaecment of the rails, then we could all pitch in and use the same system. :D

But history has shown time and time again that we can not all agree on the dimension of the rails.

PerThanks Per, I have seen the article before, but it is well worth a re-read. :)

Having been a representative of both Canada and of the USA on International standards bodies, the great difficulty in achieving standardization, is of interest to me. Railroad gauges are a typical example of where we have failed. :(

Per,

I have $100,000.00 invested in that setup, and they would'nt even give me an engineer's hat. Buyer Beware.http://sawmillcreek.org/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I get a slight hangup where the rails join. Does anyone else have this problem ?
