Another one for the demo on September 7th on "goblets with ornate stems/pedestals" This one is Bradford pear and if you are like me you would prefer one with more curvy stem, but this was done a bit angular with "V" cuts as something different and one of many possibilities to show the audience a variety of styles to get them inspired to do one on their own.

This is 6.75" tall and 2-7/8" at the rim.

I may do one or two more before Saturday's demo............just depending on the amount of time I have available...........I am about ready to turn something besides a goblet! ;)

I like that Roger. Very nice, clean looking. Bradford makes for nice turning. I'm thinking you'll have their little wheels turning!

Thanks Charlie..............yep, the grain is not perfectly straight. I had this piece of a BP log........1/4 of it, and just cut this blank square and about 8" long.......it worked out okay.
