Hook and loop tape question

Adhesive hook and loop question.

I'm replacing the Hook tape on a double drum sander. VElcro makes two versions of Hook and loop adhesive backed tape, one is Rubber adhesive the other is acrylic, any thoughts on which would be better?

In my opinion, acrylic adhesive sticks better, but I'm not sure what would be best for your sander application. Nave you asked the manufacturer what they recommend?
