Just finished this one up tonight. I wanted to add just a little bit of texturing but didn't want the dark contrast that pyro would give, so I used my Foredom with a ball cutter. I also pierced a few random squiggles for a little more interest.
It's about 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and has a few coats of DO with a few more to go before buffing.

Nice texture & the few piercings add a nice touch. Just the right amount of piercing. Some times less is more.

I love the form on this piece. You have a good eye for form!

You nailed the form [as usual] Kathy! I like the pattern of the collar area where the piercing is done.........that adds to this piece. It was a beauty without it, but now it is even better. Have you considered filling in the depressions where you stippled it with some color?

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Roger, I thought about adding some contrasting color to the stippled area, but then decided I wanted the texturing to be subtle, which is why I didn't burn the dimples in.
