You have to allow plenty of time to air out for the really burnt smell and taste to fade before consuming.

This is one of the first things I engraved last year after buying a used Epilog 24TT. Only advise I can give is don't use "auto focus". Took me 3 tries to get this. It now sits next to the computer in my garage to show others. Pretty hard now. I was snaking on them while I was learning the laser.
