when I was preparing to do the final finish hand sanding on those ridiculous curves characteristic of rails and stiles for raised panels. I looked at the "Scotch Brite" pad in my hand and, at the same time, noticed the "pad" on my DW palm sander---HMMM?
The fit was pretty good and the result was even better. Besides, the pad was reversible and I didn't have to use the "puncturing" device to allow the shop vac to do its job.
I'm not sure that I saved that much time. However, I felt great about the fact that I had deprived the "Elbow Grease God" of another meal.
He/She will go to bed hungry tonight--just like the rest of my family.
As a matter of fact, both of my kids left home years ago due to starvation--and the fact that they were college age. :o ;)
