In a recent post, someone was asking about the new Laguna REVO lathes. One of the replies was from someone who stated he had just received his, but didn't give any further info.
I am very interested in the Revo's, and I'm considering against the Powermatic 3520B. I will be buying one or the other within the next few months as part of my "lifetime" tool purchase.
Would someone who has actually used, or owns a new Revo please post their experience with the lathe and its performance....especially the DC motor, either the 2HP or 3HP.
Please do NOT post replies regarding Laguna support or customer service. Those issues have been well corrected and I'm simply not interested in that factor in my choice of lathes. I own other Laguna equipment, and have been fully satisfied with their support in the last couple of years. I am only interested in the quality and performance of the REVO lathes.
