refinishing dining room table

After my parents passed away, I was given the dining room table. It's an oak table probaly 60 years old and is showing some wear and tear. What could I refinish the table in to help with water marks?best regards,patrrick

A picture would be nice... Also, what is wrong with it now? Is it water marking? White water marks or water marks that got through the finish and discolored the wood?

You can sand it down and refinish with pre-catalyzed lacquer. If you have marks, try oxycylic acid to bleach them out.
