I woke up to find out the whole state had been moved over night! Quite an engineering feat!

Yeah? Well being all the way off in Maryland you probably didn't hear the big equipment going by. Here in Washington Idaho was right next door and at 3:00am when that big diesel fired up, we heard it.

I live in Lewiston, ID. Our oldest son lives in Clarkston, WA. I used drive across one of 2 bridges across Snake River to visit him.......Now.... it's going to be a longer drive to help finish that bathroom remodel we've been working on!

Another example of the news trying to be first instead of right or factual.

If you take Oklahoma, flip it upward and turn it 90 degrees clockwise you practically have Idaho.

Well not to the East anyways - though it might slide West a bit now and then.

What a pedestrian thread. Look, there's New York City, Yonkers, White Plains, Upstate, Florida, Canada and Out West. Stop bothering me with all these details.

Case in point...

About a month ago, NBC Nightly News (obviously based in New York) showed a map annexing Vermont into New York and re-labeling New Hampshire as Vermont.

Here's the link:

Obviously, the rest of New England doesn't matter to the New York centric world. :p

John,

From where I sit, ALL those places you mention are simply 'Back East' somewhere. Kind of like 'the old country'.

I have been telling folks for years. After the aliens in their UFO machines started controlling the weather, who knows what they were going to do next. Now we know.

We are living in a computer program. Obviously what you have experienced is a software error.

Ken, did you look to see if California was still there? Maybe it finally slide off into the Pacific Ocean, everything slid west and Idaho just held it's ground! Either way, you are a lot closer to me now. Maybe I can make a trip up to see your shop. SIL just announced last night that she is pregnant...again...so we will be traveling north in the next 8 months or so, I'm sure I could slip away for a short visit. Are you anywhere close to Pauls Valley, OK???? :p Jim.
